ARaaS® Dashboard Wiki / The pillars
The model
The five pillars
The portfolio view is organised into five performance pillars, each fed by the app that owns the discipline, each rolled into a single pillar index and then into the portfolio health index. This is the shape of the whole platform, seen from the top.
The pillars, and who feeds them
| Production performance | Effectiveness of the producing assets: OEE, availability, performance and quality, and the OPI scorecard. Fed by OptimalOEE™, the newest pillar, publishing from source. |
|---|---|
| Availability and reliability | How available and reliable the asset base is: availability, MTBF, MTTR and the maintenance strategy status. Fed by OptimalAvailability Studio™ with condition input from OptimalTREND™. |
| Risk and integrity | The loss-of-containment and compliance picture: risk ranking, inspection coverage and overdue items, fitness-for-service. Fed by OptimalIntegrity Studio™. |
| Asset health | The live condition of critical assets: anomaly alerts, equipment health index and remaining useful life. Fed by OptimalTREND™. |
| Supply chain and spares | Whether the parts are there to execute the plan: spares criticality cover, stockout risk, inventory value and obsolescence. Fed by OptimalSPARES™. |
From pillar to portfolio
Each pillar carries a small set of headline indicators and rolls into a single 0 to 100 pillar index, scored against target. The five pillar indices then combine, on agreed weights, into the portfolio health index, the one number a board can track over time and compare across sites. The weighting is explicit and owned, so the roll-up is transparent rather than a black box, and any pillar can be opened to see the metrics and the assets underneath it.
Status, not just score
Every pillar and indicator is shown against its target as red, amber or green, so attention is drawn to exceptions rather than buried in numbers. A red integrity item or a reddening spares-cover trend stands out on the executive page and becomes the first item in the next governance review. The score says how well, the status says whether to act.
Where the ARaaS® Dashboard fits
The pillars are the ARaaS® Dashboard model. The next page defines the indicators inside them and lets you roll a portfolio index yourself, and the architecture page shows how the numbers arrive live from the apps.
