OptimalSPARES™Spares and materials

MRO spares and materials optimisation

Strategic and critical spares. Your MRP Engineered.

OptimalSPARES™ holds the right part, in the right quantity, for the right reason, and releases the capital tied up in the rest. Criticality-driven stocking, AI-assisted data, and one source of truth across sites and ERPs.

What it does

Spares optimisation, from data to shelf.

Clean the data, rank the criticality, size the stock, and write it back to the ERP – less capital, fewer stockouts.

FAQ

Common questions

What does OptimalSPARES™ do?

It cleans and classifies the materials data, ranks spares by criticality, sizes the min, max and reorder points to a service level, and writes the result back to the ERP.

How can inventory fall while availability rises?

The capital comes out of the slow-moving tail that never gets used, while the critical parts get better coverage. Targeting, not a blanket cut, does it.

Why is data cleansing first?

Duplicated and mis-described parts cause phantom stockouts and duplicate holding. Optimising dirty data just optimises the errors.

Does it work with SAP?

Yes. It is built to be ERP and SAP ready, writing classified data and stocking parameters back for materials requirements planning, and it prepares data for an S/4HANA migration.

How does it fit the platform?

It is the materials engine of the Optimal® ARaaS® platform, taking criticality from OptimalAvailability Studio™ and remaining-life signals from OptimalTREND™ for just-in-time orders.
