ARaaS® · priced by the unit
Asset-Reliability-as-a-Service® keeps the commercial model close to the work – OptimalTREND™ per monitoring point, OptimalOEE™ per measurement point, and OptimalSPARES™ through separately scoped data, engineering and governance modules. Start with a bounded pilot and scale across your estate.
Value delivered
A low entry price, priced against the value it returns across the asset lifecycle – availability up, maintenance cost down, HSE risk down.
Ranges reflect Optimal® client outcomes (optimal.world). Indicative; scoped to your asset base per engagement.
How ARaaS® is priced
OptimalTREND™ and OptimalOEE™ use transparent operating units. OptimalSPARES™ separates automated data work, human decisions, asset engineering, integration and permanent governance so you only buy the scope you need.
Predictive analytics priced per monitoring point: one configured and analysed measurement stream, independent of the device or acquisition hardware.
Live production performance priced per OEE measurement point: one configured production-data input used by the line model.
Start with one structured catalogue extract of up to 5,000 submitted records. Clean and classify, duplicate decisions, BoM engineering, criticality, stocking and permanent optimisation remain distinct modules.
One configured measurement stream ingested, analysed and retained for an asset. X, Y and Z vibration, temperature and audio each count as one point when enabled. An Optron-21M with all five streams therefore contributes five monitoring points. Individual hardware devices and acquisition channels are not chargeable units.
One distinct configured production-data input, such as count/presence, analog value, speed, position, operating state or downtime. Availability, Performance, Quality, OEE and other derived KPIs are included outputs and do not create additional chargeable points.
All OpEx – no upfront licence fee and no per-user cost. Baseline remediation, site installation, integration and project-specific works are scoped separately.
Cost calculator
Pick your industry, build your estate of equipment and lines, and see a live annual estimate. Prefer to build from commercial units? Use the OEE line builder, the SPARES scope builder or the per-unit calculator below.
Showing the complete catalogue. Choose an industry to narrow the equipment and line options.
Open the equipment catalogue, choose an equipment type, then adjust its monitoring points and quantity to test the annual estimate. The typical monitoring-point figure is an editable planning reference for comparison, not a sensor count, hardware specification or fixed engineering scope.
These are comparable planning presets, not a protection-system design or compliance statement. Every displayed TREND preset is expressed in chargeable monitoring points: specialist wired references allow two configured measurement streams per referenced position, while fully enabled fleet references allow five streams per position. Hardware quantities remain engineering inputs and are not displayed as billable units. API 670 informs protection scope for applicable critical machinery; ISO 20816 informs vibration measurement and evaluation; ISO 22400-2 defines manufacturing KPI concepts. None prescribes a universal monitoring-point or OEE-measurement-point count. Final scope depends on bearings, casings, duty, failure modes, operating states and site constraints.
Open the catalogue, choose a production line or continuous-process circuit, then adjust its measurement points and quantity to test the annual estimate. The typical measurement-point figure is an editable planning reference for one line or circuit; the actual configured production-data inputs are confirmed during scoping. Derived KPIs are included and are not extra points.
Need a custom OptimalOEE line?
Build it by production-data input type. Every point type starts at zero; its definition, applicable rate and calculation appear after selection.
Select one or more bounded offers. USD remains the catalogue source of truth; the UK column shows the confirmed indicative entry display.
Indicative rates, confirmed in a formal proposal. Switch £/$ in the header.
Uses the standard monitoring-point rate. For equipment-specific rates, use the OptimalTREND equipment configurator above.
Your indicative ARaaS® cost
Indicative only; not a quote, guarantee or asset-specific monitoring design. OptimalTREND™ is priced per configured measurement stream: X, Y and Z vibration, temperature and audio each count individually when enabled. Equipment presets may use different service rates, selected automatically from the equipment type; the chargeable unit remains a monitoring point. OptimalOEE™ is priced per configured production-data input; derived KPIs are included. The OEE line builder prices point types individually, while the simple calculator uses the blended planning rate. For OptimalSPARES™, Permanent Optimisation contributes to the annual recurring total and bounded delivery offers are displayed separately. The value figure is a sensitivity range applied to the maintenance spend you enter, not a forecast.
Pricing
Start with one app and a bounded scope, then add capability as the value proves out. The ARaaS® Dashboard is included with every app.
One point is one measurement stream · start from 10 points
One point is one configured production input · start with one line
One structured catalogue extract, up to 5,000 submitted material records
OptimalTREND™ and OptimalOEE™ rates are indicative and fall with volume. The ten OptimalSPARES™ offers are bounded indicative planning scopes with explicit units and minimums. Input condition, complexity, additional systems or sites and non-standard delivery are confirmed in a formal proposal.
Prefer it fully managed?
When you would rather Optimal® run the whole cycle, the same apps come as a managed retainer with a named Asset Performance Engineer. Three service levels, scoped to your estate.
All OpEx – no upfront licence fee, no separate software implementation fee and no per-user cost. Field installation and project-specific works are scoped separately.

Decision-ready proposal
Generic savings and ROI percentages are not meaningful without an agreed baseline. Your formal proposal uses your asset, production and maintenance evidence, makes every assumption explicit and separates measured facts from sensitivity scenarios.
The assets, lines, records and chargeable units in scope; integrations, delivery boundaries, exclusions and the assumptions requiring confirmation.
The agreed maintenance, failure, downtime and production evidence; the comparison method, value levers and transparent sensitivity cases where evidence is incomplete.
Mobilisation steps, data readiness, responsibilities, acceptance criteria, review cadence and the controls used to validate delivery and realised value.
USD source pricing, current local display, bounded and recurring charges, volume treatment, taxes, logistics and any site-specific or non-standard work.
An asset register, recent failure and downtime history, maintenance spend, production constraints and current work-management data are enough to begin. Gaps are documented rather than hidden behind generic ROI claims.
Portfolio operators
At scale the unit rate falls and a managed engagement adds multi-site governance, a gain-share model and a quarterly board review. We will scope it to your estate and build the business case with you.
Mining
One evidence model and ARaaS® lifecycle across your estate: rotating fixed plant and mobile equipment, matched to criticality.
Hazardous-area deployments use an Ex-rated configuration subject to exact model, marking, certificate and mine approval verification. Every device is supplied, commissioned and operated by Optimal® as part of an ARaaS® engagement.
FAQ
OptimalTREND™ is priced per monitoring point and OptimalOEE™ per measurement point. These commercial units are configured data streams or inputs, not individual hardware devices or acquisition channels. OptimalSPARES™ uses ten bounded offers with their own commercial units: catalogue, delivery scope, processed or reviewed record, candidate pair, asset, connector/site, site/year or bounded analysis. USD is the source catalogue and the UK figures are indicative displays.
One configured measurement stream ingested, analysed and retained for an asset. For comparable planning, specialist wired references allow two configured measurement streams per referenced position; fully enabled fleet references allow five streams per position: X, Y and Z vibration, temperature and audio. The calculator displays the resulting monitoring-point total, not a hardware count. Standard equipment presets use $305 per point per year; specialist machinery presets use $791.65. The applicable rate is selected automatically when you choose equipment. Hardware devices and acquisition channels are engineering components, not billable units.
One distinct configured production-data input used by the line model, such as count/presence, analog, speed, position, state or downtime. Availability, Performance, Quality, OEE and other calculated KPIs are included outputs and are not charged as additional points.
Yes. Begin with OptimalTREND™ on a handful of points, or OptimalOEE™ on a single line, and add capability once the value proves out. The ARaaS® Dashboard is included with every app.
No. OptimalTREND™ is sensor-agnostic and built for brownfield plants, and Optimal® integrates alongside your existing CMMS or EAM – SAP PM, Maximo or Pronto.
